12 Days Before Christmas

Thursday 12/13/2018

It's the 12 Days Before Christmas

and we're celebrating!

I am so incredibly blessed that I had the patience to finish these cards for all of you. I hope you thoroughly enjoy them. This sheet is 11" x 8 1/2" so all you need to do is print on paper or cardstock. Write 1 - 12 on the back to one side of each one. Then simply roll each one tightly and place in the tree. Each day pick one in numeric order.

I apologize, I should have started this yesterday on the 13th.

Play games with your family this year during the 12 days before Christmas.

I thought this one was sort of cute, nothing serious - just a whole lot of fun. This is a Christmas Guessing Game. Just print and cut. It's a guessing game, so the one holding the card gives everyone else a clue as to what it is. Then everyone else guesses.

This just got me curious as to how it was made. Really I'm interested in the house. I just love this. This would make wonderful Christmas cards for next year.

First make yourself a couple super yummy snacks to have on hand. This isn't the time of year to be counting calories, or adding another hour to your workout. You'll have plenty of time for that the day after Christmas.

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line an 18 by 13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Lay pretzels in a single layer on baking sheet then place one Rolo candy in the center of each pretzel.

  3. Warm in preheated oven just until chocolate and caramel have softened, about 4 minutes.

  4. Remove from oven then press 1 pecan into each Rolo candy. Transfer baking sheet to refrigerator and chill until chocolate has set.

  5. Store in an airtight container at room temperature (preferably in a single layer - the chocolate softens up just a little at room temperature).

Just add some M & M to your super buttery pop corn. I love salty with sweet - it's the absolute best when it comes to treats.
