How To Make Angel Wings
When I came across these - it was love at first sight. I immediately thought of how gorgeous these would be on a wall this Valentine's Day.
There wasn't any tutorial to go with these, so I've put the tutorial together here.
Step 1. Print this angel wing template on a 11" x 8 1/2" piece of paper.
Step 2. Trace this onto a piece of foam core. You remember, scribble over the back of your template with a pencil really hard - flip and transfer.
Step 3. Now print the feathers onto a piece of paper. You can use plain printer paper, or you could use scrapbook paper in white or cream, and maybe mixing in some glitter paper.
Step 4. After you have your feathers printed, you can cut all of them out. Might want to get the family involved.
While your cutting them out, you'll make slits in them like seen here.
Step 5. Now we'll assemble this and leaving it to dry overnight. Start with applying your glue to the bottom of one wing and attaching your feathers here. Do the same to the other wing.
Step 6. Apply some glue across the top of your feathers and a little bit above them, then place more feathers.
You'll continue doing Step 6 till you've added all of your feathers and the template is filled. Refer to this photo above to see how the top is done.
