Materials

  • Plastic Easter Eggs (found on Amazon)
  • Brown Craft Paint
  • Burlap
  • Pinecones
  • Hot Glue
  • Twigs

Step 1. With some of the plastic eggs being bright colours, scuff them up with a little sandpaper, than paint them with two coats of brown craft paint.

Step 2. Cut out a large circle of burlap.

Step 3. Place hot glue on one end of the egg and up about 3/4 of the egg.

Step 4. Now lay your burlap circle over the glue with the center of the circle being at the bottom of the egg.

Step 5. Next was gluing on the pine cone pieces to create the top of the acorn. Snip off some pieces with heavy scissors.

Step 6. Then, just hot glue them around the top. Do approximately 3 - 4 rows of pine cone pieces to cover the top.

Step 7. Glue a small stem in the middle of the pine cone pieces on the top.

Now you can mix these in with your acorn kissing balls in your wooden bowl.
