How To Make Pink Mercury Glass

When I wrote my Vintage Valentine post the other day, it was this photo that inspired me to write this post on how to make Pink Mercury Glass.

Making Pink Mercury Glass is done the same way you would make traditional gold or silver mercury glass.

Either one of these paints I would recommend in doing this.

Whether if you love pink, or your looking to make a few candle holders for Valentine's Day - you'll love how beautiful these are.

Step 1. Make a mixture of 50/50 vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Then spritz the inside of your candle holders.

Step 2. Then immediately spray paint the insides of your candle holders. With the paint still wet, spritz it some more with your vinegar and water solution (this creates etching in the paint). After a minute or two, dab at the glass with a paper towel.

Step 3. Now allow to completely dry.
