How to Make a Pipe Ladder

I promise, this is the only pipe project I'm sharing with you.

Pipe everything dominates Industrial French Country. Personally, I don't feel all of that is necessary. A simple piece is all you need when it comes to a "pipe piece". I love this project because it's very simple and would look gorgeous in either your bathroom for towels, your living room with blankets, or your bedroom with blankets.

All of these pieces are threaded, so they go together very simply. There's only a couple pieces that you'll need is (4) wall flanges, (4) 90 degree elbows, (6) tee's, (11) 18" threaded pipes. These pieces will give you a piece that looks just like this.

How to Make Faux Metal Letters

There's just something that I love about metal letters, still not sure what it is. This is another super simple project that I thought you would love.

These would be beautiful in all rooms of your home. "BATH" in the bathroom. "EATS" in the kitchen. "RELAX" in the living room. "GOOD NIGHT" in the bedroom.

  • Paper mache letters
  • White, Silver Metallic, Light Grey Acrylic Paints
  • White glue
  • Either Turmeric powder, or cinnamon
  • Paint Brush

Step 1. Purchase paper mache letters from your local craft store, like Hobby Lobby.

Step 2. Paint the paper mache letters completely in white and allow to dry.

Step 3. Paint your letters in the silver metallic paint and allow to dry.

Step 4. Now dab your light grey paint over your letters and allow to dry.

Step 5. Take a small amount of glue onto your paint brush and dab random areas on each letter, then sprinkle on your turmeric, or cinnamon and allow to dry.

Step 6. After our letters are done drying, go over the areas that you added the turmeric, or cinnamon to with your finger and remove the excess.
