Last Minute Halloween Decor

You've been working your butt off at work and just want to come home to relax, without a care in the world.

This is the week of Halloween and I'm doing a Countdown! Today's about last minute Halloween decor that's so incredibly simple!

We all know the effects of a room lit solely by candles and although I find it very soothing, Halloween sparks a different kind of mood.

These candle holders are probably the easiest thing that you'll ever do!

You can purchase candle holders just like these at the Dollar Tree. The only thing you'll need to do is draw on spooky faces with a black sharpie.

And these candles aren't that much different in being easy.

Have I ever told you how much I love the Dollar Tree? Just think about it, you walk into a store and EVERYTHINGS $1.00.

And just look how adorable these pumpkin spider votive holders are. Super simple.

Materials you'll need from the Dollar Tree:

  • Glue gun and glue
  • Small Pumpkins
  • Black Pipe Cleaners (either found in the craft section, or in the kids section)
  • Votive candles

Step 1. Simply carve out the center of each pumpkin with a steak knife. Carve it out deep enough to place a votive candle in.

Step 2. Fold the pipe cleaners into spooky looking legs and hot glue to your pumpkins.

Step 3. Finally, place your candle inside and have a spooky night!

Have you ever seen these types of spider webs?

I just saw these last year and was happy to see them again this year. There made from trash bags that you know you can get from the Dollar Tree. I just don't know how big they are.

Because you will get two spiderwebs out of a single trash bag, you will only need 1 or 2 trash bags for this project. I recommend bags that are thin with a grainy texture if possible because the glossy bags tend to slide around a lot when you’re trying to cut them.
