Paper Christmas Tree Decor DIY

Tuesday 11/20/2018

This blog was originally written by placeofmytaste.com. Everything in my blog here is in my own words.

Things you will need:

-card stock {color of your choice }

-scissors or cutting tool

-hot glue gun
– cone shape foam or paper cone
-fake snow
-faux berry branches

foam cone shape

Top right - apply some hot glue across the back of one petal and Top left - place onto the styrofoam cone like you see. You want for some of the petal to go beyond the bottom. Bottom left - continue placing your petals on so that each row falls into the middle of the petals of the row you just completed. Bottom right - continue all the way to the top.

Here's a petal template if you need it. It measures approximately 1" wide by 2" in height.

Get your children involved.

Perfect project for teaching them how to use a hot glue gun.

Take your red berry sprigs and cut off some of the little berries. Hot glue on randomly all over your tree.

Spray your trees with faux snow and allow to dry.
