Pottery Barn Inspired Galvanized Snowflakes

My dear Friends - I'm almost embarrassed being here today showing you how to make these.

Because I've worked with metal in the past, I will tell you that cutting it is no easy task. However we're not going to be using metal to create these little darlings. No - no - no we're going to be using either cardboard or wood to make these.

MATERIALS -

  • Chipboard snowflakes
  • Silver and black acrylic paint
  • Regular paint brush and stiff bristle paint brush

Begin with painting your snowflakes in silver and allow to dry.

Now take and stipple a tiny amount of black onto your snowflakes. Dip the brush into the paint and then pounce on a paper towel to remove most of the paint. Now your ready to stipple.
