Have I ever showed you how to make these beautiful painted Mason Jars?

If not, I'm greatly surprised because these have been around for a long time.

These can be used for several things. Make an odd number of them and create a vignette. Leave the lids off and add some green carnations - real or faux.

You can pick up Mason Jars at the thrift store pretty constantly for a dollar a piece. If you don't want to do this, you can buy them at Hobby Lobby.

Materials

  • Mason Jars
  • Pencil
  • Tiny Paint Brush
  • Matte Spray Paint in several shades of green
  • Gold and Green Glitter
  • White Glue
  • Acrylic Sealer

Step 1. Spray paint your Mason jars with the lids off. Allow to dry.

Step 2. Using a pencil, draw a 3-leaf clover onto your Mason jar. If you need help with the shape, just Google 3-leaf clover.

Step 3. Now using your tiny paint brush, with a bit of white glue - paint in the shape of your 3-leaf clover.

Step 4. Now sprinkle on your glitter and pound your jar a bit to remove the excess. Allow to dry. Then spray with a clear coat.

Now enjoy your new St. Patrick's Day decor!
