Tuesday 11/20/2018

Oh my gosh - look how adorable these are and I'm anxious to share them with you.e

  • Small styrofoam trees
  • Twine
  • Tiny wood stars
  • White acrylic paint
  • Tiny terra cotta pots to fit the trees into
  • Red and white gingham ribbon
  • Tiny bells
  • Small piece of styrofoam
  • Tiny white bows
  • Fairly straight small twigs

Begin with placing a dab of hot glue on the top of the styrofoam cone and smearing around, then place your twine and twirl around in a circle for the top. Put a tiny dab of hot glue on the top of one side and begin wrapping your twine down around the side. Make sure your twine is very tight against one another and wrap a little bit and place a dab of hot glue.

Because this is going up on twig for the trunk, you'll also want to wrap the twine around the bottom. One your done doing the sides, bring down onto the bottom and place a dab of hot glue. Continue twisting your twine into a circle, gluing a little bit as you go along.

Now paint your tiny terra cotta pot and wood stars white and allow to dry.

Take a longer piece of your red and white gingham ribbon and make a simple bow. Glue this to the top of your tree. Also glue a few tiny bells to the top.

Once the terra cotta pot is dry, hot glue a tiny piece of styrofoam into the bottom. Also place a twig into the bottom of your tree, then hot glue into the styrofoam in the terra cottage pot.

Now hot glue on all of your white stars.

Wrap a piece of your red and white gingham ribbon around the top of your pot and glue in place. Then wrap a piece of twine over this and glue in place. Place one of your tiny white bows over the area where you glued these.

As for filling your pot, you could use moss,
