So how do we add a little Vintage Valentine to our homes this year?
I believe that even if one doesn't live with vintage decor in their homes year round, there's a special place for this for Valentine's Day.
Let's start small with some roses in some form of a white container - vintage postcards and sheet music.
Now to help you out here, I've created some vintage postcards and sheet music that you can easily print. It's 8 1/2" x 11" so you might want to resize it.
You can also use the sheet music to make a heart garland.
To further add to this beautiful Valentine vignette, we'll make a rag wreath, frame an antique print and make pink mercury glass.
"I found this pretty blush mercury glass votive holder that I purchased at Dollar Tree back in the fall. The dark pink vintage transferware saucer underneath is another recent thrift score."
There's all sorts of vintage Valentine cards that can be printed right off your printer. Here are a few of my favorites.
So you don't have an antique hair comb to put these in, no problems - just buy a few 5" x 7" frames from the Dollar Tree.
